Yes. If you leave a company which has been paying for your life insurance, you can either get a new employer to pay for it, or pay for it yourself. The policy number, nominated beneficiaries, and all instructions you have given will stay the same, unless and until you personally override them by nominating new beneficiaries and/or providing new instructions.
